It’s happening, y’all!
We’re almost halfway through the Texas special session on education freedom, and we’re so close to empowering parents across the state. Already, we’ve seen great bills to put the power to decide back into the hands of parents.
But we’re not done yet, and as we get closer to the goal, our opponent’s defense only gets more motivated, more fierce, more desperate.
Now, it’s not just the unions piling onto pro-education-freedom legislators, it’s the ISDs themselves.
That’s right, the school districts have officially joined the fray—and in a way that looks a lot like lobbying.
They’re mailing and emailing and texting parents telling them that ESAs will destroy public schools. Notice they never talk about the fact the legislature already passed the largest increase to public education EVER, when the budget gave $10.3 BILLION more on top of the $85 Billion we already spend? No, no, we can’t allow parents and taxpayers to know we’re fully funding public schools!

They’re spreading misinformation and lies. Why? To protect the system they’re profiting off of by confusing parents and raising your taxes. They think that if they spread enough of the lies, parents will be confused and give up.
They’re desperate, y’all. The anti-parent establishment is going wild to defend its territory—control over our kids and control over the cash.
It’s time for us to fight back. Not with angry words, but with the truth—and encouragement for legislators that will stand up for us.
We know what the education establishment is afraid of—that school choice will empower every child in the state to achieve their academic potential.
We know it improves education across the state, whether it's for public, private, or charter schools.
And, we know that mom and dad know best!
